Bowman Rebecchi Secures GRILAG Funding Support For Harbour Lets (Gourock)

Bowman Rebecchi has secured funding to support the completion of the renovation works at Harbour Lets (Gourock).

The Home of Property has been granted £5,000 to complete the attic renovation of the former Albert Hotel to create two further rooms for Short Term Let.

The Greater Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Local Action Group (GRI LAG) is responsible for awarding funding on behalf of the Scottish Government’s Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Programme across the rural areas of East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.

Small capital items of up to £5,000 are available for a range of activities, with this grant aimed at supporting an increase in local rural businesses, micro-businesses and social enterprises across Gourock and sustaining the existing businesses.

Bowman Rebecchi Director, Andrew Bowman said: “We are thrilled that the GRILAG has chosen to support our project to complete the renovation of the former Albert Hotel.

“As one of Gourock’s oldest buildings, we have invested over the past two years to create a comfortable space to stay and this additional funding will help us to bring a further two rooms to the market for short-term let.

“We have enjoyed a successful first year of trading and with this increase in available room space, we expect to see further growth in 2025.

“We would like to thank Keren Ferguson and the Committee for their support and look forward to completing this project ahead of the tourist season kicking off.”
