Cafe Proposal Approved For Long-Term Vacant Greenock Store

Planners have approved plans for an empty convenience store in Greenock to be transformed into a cafe.

The change-of-use application was given the go-ahead for the premises at 150a Wren Road, after the agreement of a long-term lease by Bowman Rebecchi with the prospective tenant.

Drawings submitted to Inverclyde Council by Rebecchi Architectural show there would be seating for 32 people.

A condition of planning permission is that the cafe can only open between 08:00 and 20:00.

Further details of the new tenants will follow in the coming weeks.
